Hi everyone, I'm a solo dev from Japan. I use AI chat tools every day for coding and research, but one thing drove me crazy: the best answers, code snippets, and prompts always get buried in the endless chat history. I didn't want another heavy cloud note app, and I definitely didn't want to feed my private notes back into AI training. I just wanted a simple, lightweight place to save those answers locally as clean markdown (.md) files. So I made VanillaPad. It runs on pure PHP
